On November 19, 2018 Jefferson County and the City of Port Townsend entered into an interlocal cooperation agreement to support affordable housing and homeless housing programs pursuant to RCW 36.22.178, RCW 36.22.179, and RCW 36.22.179

Regular meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers, Courthouse Basement, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368.

LOCAL HOMELESS HOUSING TASK FORCE

The Local Homeless Housing Task Force is tasked with developing a local five-year homeless housing plan addressing short-term and long-term housing for homeless persons as required by RCW 43.185C.160(1). The local five-year homeless housing plan shall be recommended to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on or before October 1, 2019 for adoption by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners by December 1, 2019.

Regular meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers, Courthouse Basement, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
