JOINT JEFFERSON COUNTY/CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND HOUSING FUND BOARD

On November 1, 2021 Jefferson County and the City of Port Townsend entered into an interlocal cooperation agreement to support affordable housing and homeless housing programs pursuant to RCW 36.22.178, RCW 36.22.179, and RCW 36.22.179. 

Regular meetings are the 4th Wednesday of every month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT

The Joint Jefferson County/City of Port Townsend Housing Fund Board has one (1) open position to serve as Citizen Representatives. One Appointment will serve an unexpired Three (3) Year Term expiring December 31, 2026. The HFB is seeking applicants with experience in grants and finance, housing development and/or lived experience in housing insecurity.  New applicants are encouraged to speak to relevant experience on the Boards and Commissions Volunteer Application Form. Additionally, the board seeks representation of geographic, economic, gender, age and racial/ ethnic diversity.  

The deadline for first review of applicants is Wednesday, February 28. 2024. Accepting applications until the position is filled.
