Or, if you have COVID-19 symptoms or were in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, you may pick up a free home test kit outside the entrance of the Jefferson County Public Health office beside QFC in Port Townsend during business hours. Please ring the buzzer and someone will bring one out to you. Rapid antigen test kits usually range in price from $20-25 and contain 2 tests. They might be found at Safeway, QFC, CVS, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, and Walmart. They may also available online on websites such as Amazon, CVS, and Walmart. Rapid Molecular Testing at Home: PCR Testing at Clinics/Pharmacies: Jefferson Healthcare If experiencing non-urgent, COVID-like symptoms, self-swab PCR tests are available in front of the Jefferson Healthcare Express Clinic. Patients who test positive with a PCR test will receive a call from the Nurse Consult Line with further instructions and screening for antiviral medication.
