Filing With the Superior Court Clerk
Filing Hours:
Our filing hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM PST, excluding court holidays. Any paper or electronic documents received outside of these filing hours will be considered received and filed at the beginning of the next working day. For fees, such as ex parte, please see below:
File Electronically
The Superior Court Clerk's Office accepts electronic filing through the web portal Liquidfiles, please refer to the Local Court Rules for details on what is acceptable to file using this method.
- To register for e-filing, contact Chief Deputy Clerk Lori Bailey, lbailey@co.jefferson.wa.us; your name will be added to our roster and you will receive instructions via email on how to submit documents for filing through Liquidfiles.
File in Person
You may file Superior Court case documents in person by bringing them into the Clerks' office during regular business hours - 2nd Floor of the Courthouse, room 210, 8:30-4:30, Monday - Friday (excluding court holidays).
File by Mail
You may file Superior Court case documents through the mail. We do not accept stapled or double sided documents, for more specifics please refer to the Local Court Rules on how to file with our office. Be sure to include any filing fees required.

File by Fax
We do accept files via fax, please refer to the Local Court Rules for instructions, the printable cover sheet and Facsimile Affidavit that must be included, along with payment, with any documents to be faxed. Alternatively, you may sign up for e-filing if mailing or filing in-person is not possible - see instructions above.
Superior Court Clerks Office Filing fees:
Ex Parte Order - $30
Fax filing - $5 first page, $1 per page thereafter
Civil filing fee - $240
Domestic filing fee - $314
Probate/Guardianship - $240
Family Law Facilitator appointment fee - $20
Anti-Harassment filing fee - $53
Certified copies - $5 first page, $1 per page thereafter
Letters Testamentary/of Guardianship/of Administration/of Conservatorship - $5 per copy
Small Estate Affidavit packet - $3.25
