All parents have questions and concerns.
Our dedicated public health staff is prepared to explore your family health questions or concerns. We are committed to supporting you in being the best parent that you can be so that all our Jefferson children get off to a good start, thriving in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. We offer support and education to pregnant people and parents of young children who are income-eligible.
We also provide resources for families with children with special healthcare needs.

A team of committed public health nurses, public health educators, social workers, lactation professionals, and registered dieticians are available to support healthy pregnancies, healthy babies, healthy children, and healthy families. Services, support, and connection to relevant local resources may be provided through, virtual, office and/or home visits.
Breastfeeding Education and Support
Get your baby off to a good start by learning about breastfeeding. Public health staff are here to assist you with reliable information to answer your questions and offer guidance and support on breastfeeding topics.
Breastfeeding supplies and pumps are available based on program eligibility.
