All Washington state registered voters will receive a ballot by mail.

Washington state is a vote by mail state. If you are a registered Washington state voter, you will not need to request an “absentee ballot” because all registered voters will receive a ballot by mail. To verify, register, or update your voter registration please visit: http://voter.vote.wa.gov
Jefferson County ballots will be mailed on Tuesday, October 14, 2020, twenty days prior to election day. If you do not receive your ballot by October 20th, please call (360)385-9119 or email elections@co.jefferson.wa.us.
Voters can return their ballot by mail no postage required or alternatively voters can return their ballot to one of six official ballot drop box locations throughout the county. For official ballot drop box locations please visit: https://co.jefferson.wa.us/1493/Ballot-Drop-Boxes
If you haven’t returned your ballot by October 28th and are planning on returning your ballot via the postal service, please be sure to take your ballot to the service counter at your local post office to have your ballot hand stamped with a postmark.
