Jefferson County Department of Public Works will conduct a public meeting to present and take comments on the SR 19 Rhody Drive Pedestrian-Bike Improvements – North Segment Project, County Project No. 1802076. This project begins at the SR 19 (Rhody Drive) / Fern Way intersection (SR 19 M.P. 9.60) and runs along the north-bound SR 19 shoulder, through H.J. Carroll Park, and ends at the existing perimeter trail within the park.
Proposed improvements include construction of an 8’ wide multi-use path for pedestrians and bicycles adjacent to the north-bound SR 19 shoulder, a 5’ wide stormwater swale, an 8’ wide multi-use path within H.J. Carroll Park, a raised crosswalk across H.J. Carroll Park Road, and lane re-striping on SR 19 and H.J. Carroll Park Road.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tri-Area Community Center meeting room, located at 10West Valley Road, Chimacum, WA. 98325. Public Works staff will present project information and receive comments on the project.
