CHIMACUM—Residents who received their first dose of Moderna vaccine on March 21 can get their second shot on April 17 at the Chimacum School District Multi-Purpose Room, 91 West Valley Road. The clinic will be open from 9AM to Noon for second dose inoculations.
Those who received their first vaccination at the JCPH/DEM mass vaccination clinic on March 21 will be contacted either by email or by phone this week to schedule their second dose appointment on April 17. Individuals who received their first dose of the vaccination on March 27 will also be contacted this week to schedule their second dose appointment on April 24.
Effective Wednesday, March 31, it is no longer necessary to log on to Phase Finder to check your eligibility for a vaccination. Beginning March 31, those eligible include:
- People 16 years or older with 2 or more co-morbidities or underlying conditions
- All people 60 years and older
- People, staff and volunteers in certain congregate living settings: correctional facilities; groups homes for people with disabilities; settings where people experiencing homelessness live or access services
- High-risk critical workers in certain congregate settings: restaurants, food services, construction and manufacturing and anyone who was eligible in earlier phases are eligible to get vaccinated.

Several pharmacies in the area will continue to offer vaccination appointments as vaccine supplies are available to them. They include:
Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) has contracted with ECHHO to offer transportation assistance to vaccine sites for individuals 60 older. O3A is also taking names of people who cannot leave their homes and will need eventual home visits. Their Information and Assistance desk can be reached at 360-385-2552 or 1-800-801-0050.
