NOTE: Please bring your vaccination card to your appointment. Please confirm your eligibility by referencing the list of medical conditions prior to making an appointment. Boosters are only available six months or more after an individual has received their 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Boosters have only been approved for the Pfizer vaccine. Boosters for either Moderna or J&J have not yet been approved. If you received Moderna or J&J, you are not yet eligible to receive a booster dose.

Pfizer booster shots will also soon be available through some local pharmacies – please check with your pharmacist for availability or by calling Emergency Management at 360-344-9791.

The CDC also acknowledged the following groups may receive a booster dose:

Although approved for these segments of the population, booster doses were more strongly recommended for individuals 65+ and individuals 50 – 64 with underlying medical conditions. As such, the above clinics will initially only be open to the populations listed on the first page of the release. This may change at a later date and/or more clinics may be scheduled. Stay tuned to the Jefferson County Public Health website above for updates.

The Department of Emergency Management, Jefferson County Public Health, and Jefferson Healthcare will be partnering to provide private clinics to health care workers and other individuals who may receive a booster due to exposure in an occupational or institutional setting. Employees in these fields may hear about these opportunities soon from their employer.
